Emergency teams in Savannah are conducting residential damage inspections post-Tropical Storm Debby. These teams focus on specific areas, such as residential properties impacted by the storm. Mayor Johnson and City Manager Jay Melder have praised accurately modeling vulnerable areas ahead of the storm, indicating a strategic approach to assessing and addressing the damage.

City officials in Savannah reported significant impacts following Tropical Storm Debby, including 10 inches of rainfall, 19.7 billion gallons of water entering the drainage system, 37 homes impacted in Tremont Park with residents evacuated to safety, and 22 teams conducting residential damage inspections.
